- Suitability
- Saltillo tiles are made from clay and named after the town they are from. The clay is famous for the robust quality and differing colours when fired.
- The tiles are a wide range of colours from gold to amber to terracotta depending upon where the tile is fired in the kiln.
- These tiles are hand made and not uniform.
Minor imperfections are an inherent part of the hand made process. - The Saltillo tiles need to be sealed after laying.
